BULK HANDLING EQUIPMENT & SYSTEMS

DRIVE SYSTEM for Tubular Cable/Drag/Disc Conveyors
DRIVE SYSTEM

In addition to reversing direction of the cable/disc assembly, the Drive System can be equipped with a cone discharge housing to serve as the final discharge point in a multi-discharge point system (shown) or as the only discharge point in a system.

TUBULAR DISCHARGE VALVES for Tubular Cable/Drag/Disc Conveyors
TUBULAR DISCHARGE VALVES

Tubular Discharge Valves enable conveyor to dispense material dust-free at one or multiple locations.

DISC AND CABLE ASSEMBLY for Tubular Cable/Drag/Disc Conveyors
DISC AND CABLE ASSEMBLY

4 and 6 in. (102 and 152 mm) diameter Discs of high-strength polymers on Galvanized or 304/316 Stainless Steel Cable glide within smooth stainless steel tubing, evacuating material and allowing thorough cleaning.

AUTOMATIC CABLE TENSIONER for Tubular Cable/Drag/Disc Conveyors
AUTOMATIC CABLE TENSIONER

Automatic Cable Tensioner reverses the direction of the cable while imparting tension that keeps the cable taut throughout the conveyor circuit.

FLEXI-DISC® Tubular Cable Conveyors

Handle friable materials gently, efficiently, dust-free
FLEXI-DISC® Tubular Cable Conveyors (also known as Disc Conveyors and Drag Conveyors) gently slide bulk materials through smooth stainless steel tubing using low-friction polymer discs attached to stainless steel or galvanized cable. The discs and cable are driven by a wheel at one end of the circuit, and put under tension by a wheel at the other end. This design allows single or multiple inlets and outlets, and the routing of conveyor tubing horizontally, vertically or at any angle, through small holes in walls or ceilings. Because components are modular, inlets and outlets can be added, removed or relocated, and the circuit lengthened, shortened or re-routed as needs change.

Materials ideally suited to FLEXI-DISC Tubular Cable/Drag/Disc Conveyors

Materials ideally suited to FLEXI-DISC conveyors include virtually all beans, cereals, coffees, dried fruits, frozen vegetables, grains, nuts, beans, pet foods, seeds, snack foods, spices, teas and other fragile/friable food products. Typical non-foods include: bulk chemicals, minerals, prills, chopped fiberglass, microspheres, regrind, pellets of all types, tobacco and other fragile/friable products.
